How to keep your quartz clean (Q-tip technique, ISO safety)

Clean quartz tastes better and lasts longer. The secret is not aggressive scrubbing — it's a small habit after every dab.

After every dab: the Q-tip technique While the banger is still warm (not glowing), swirl a dry cotton swab around the bucket to pick up the leftover puddle. A second swab finishes it. Ten seconds, done — residue never bakes on, and deep cleans become rare.

Why not wait? Leftover concentrate that reheats again and again carbonizes ("chazzing") — a cloudy, rough film that never fully comes off and ruins flavor permanently.

ISO safety - Isopropyl alcohol is flammable — keep it far from the torch and any flame - Never soak or rinse a warm banger - Let the banger dry completely before reheating — alcohol residue must not burn off - Ventilate the room and keep ISO away from children
