Dabbing safety basics (hot quartz, open flame, storage)

Dabbing involves very hot glass and, usually, an open flame. None of this is dangerous with a few habits — but those habits are non-negotiable.

Hot quartz stays hot A banger can burn you minutes after it stops glowing. Red-hot is obvious; "looks normal again" is not safe.

  • Never touch the banger, cap or pearls to check temperature
  • Keep hot parts on a heat-resistant surface, away from table edges
  • Wait until everything is fully cool before cleaning or storing
  • Burns: cool immediately under running water; seek medical care for anything serious

Open flame (torch) - Point the flame only at the banger — never at the rig body, your hands, or anything flammable - Refill butane away from any flame, and let fumes settle before relighting - Keep the torch standing, stable and out of reach of children and pets - Never leave a lit torch unattended — not even "for a second"

Flammable cleaners Isopropyl alcohol ignites easily. Store it closed, far from the torch, and never let a warm banger near liquid ISO. Details in the cleaning guide.

Storage - Store rigs and bangers where they can't fall — quartz breaks, and broken glass near a torch is a bad combination - Keep concentrates, tools and especially torches away from children - A stable mat under the rig saves tables and glass (storage & mats)

One more thing Effects can be strong, especially for newcomers. Sit down, take small dabs, and give yourself time. This shop is strictly 21+.
